End-Point Assessment

There are four stages to the Team Leader/Supervisor Apprenticeship.  Each stage must be successfully met before the Apprentice is deemed as having met the required standard.

Knowledge test Using questions and scenarios with a focus on current and contemporary supervisory skills and leadership theory.  Areas of focus: leading people, managing people, building relationships, communication, operational management, project management and finance. 30%
Competency based interview A competency based interview: with a focus on current application of knowledge and theory in practice, within the workplace.  Areas of focus: leading people, managing people, building relationships, communication, operational management, project management and finance. 30%
Assessment of portfolio With a focus on supplementary, photographic and work-based evidence to complement knowledge and competency based evidence), Areas of focus: leading people, managing people, building relationships, communication, operational management, project management, self-awareness, management of self and decision making, taking responsibility, inclusivity, being agile, professionalism and finance 20%
Professional discussion Evidence of CPD is essential.  Include training, development, personal improvement and how learning will be applied (in the future) within the workplace. Areas of focus: overall development opportunities since commencement of apprenticeship program.  Ideas for development over the next 12 to 18 months. 20%
